13 months ago: Hi Nicole, I like how you have stuck with 2 colours - so it doesnt look too multicoloured. Its just a touch too busy I think though! Maybe a little to many square sections also - but a fine first effort - Thank you.

13 months ago: Hi Dale, I am in. I read brief in detail and there are few confusion ... you said you want the site feel something electric what does it mean how electric? If you provide some type of images then it is much easier to me to develop layout.

13 months ago: Hi d design, its really hard to explain electric, but i suppose this site will help: http://www.mikeprecious.com/ I think its the lighting in the header and the textured background makes the site feel like its electric to me. But you dont neccessarily need to do all that - its just one of the things i like in a site! On the other hand - this site ISNT really electric: http://www.vyniknite.sk/ but i love it cause its so clean and simple. So i am quite broad in my tastes of sites. I look forward to see what you come up with.

13 months ago: I'm curious to know: 1. what sort of content are you anticipating having on the home page? 2. What are the main things you want visitors to focus on when they enter the site? 3. What makes you stand out over the rest of the web design/development companies out there?

13 months ago: Hi Artistique, fantastic questions. Here are my answers:
1.) The home page i think would have perhaps only 1 (or two at the most) paragraphs on what I do, and also including answer no.3 below. I havent come up with the words yet - but probably between 1 and no more than 2 paragraphs.
2.)I want the visitor to know exactly what i do, and why we are better - so attention to the paragraph of text mentioned above.
3.)I think we are different because of 3 reasons: 3.1)Is that with each project, I do not give up until the client is happy (which sometimes takes months - as you know being a designer!) - even often without being paid for the extra work. 3.2)I can keep costs low because I dont work in gigantic offices with huge overheads. Each employee works from home, and we use free video conferencing to keep in contact. So overheads are extremely small, so we can produce quality at a lower price than other studios. 3.3)We focus on automating web apps/web sites (usualy via Content Management Systems) - so that at all times, we are looking to help the client automate their business, so they never have to hire us again to change their content, or to help run their business. It does do us out of a lot more work - but we are rewarded with trust from clients, and therefore repeat business when they need a redesign etc.
I hope that helps, and thanks for the questions - It helps me too!

13 months ago: Hi dale, I want to ask that what is your slogan? if any! and the other confusion is that what the eLab abriviated and what actually the eLab is?

13 months ago: Hi d design! I dont have a slogan! I haven't thought of anything worthy enough. eLAB stands for electronic labaratory, and when i created it - i had in mind an web lababaratory where i can create and experiment with cool web apps. Kind of like a web application incubator for clients. Does that answer it? Thanks!

13 months ago: Hi All Designers - to create a personal comment - you need to create one on a specific submission by clicking the blue exclamation mark above one of your entries. Personal ones in the usual entries page (unattached to a submission) are being saved but not displayed on the screen. Thanks!

13 months ago: To all designers, Thanks EVERYONE for your efforts so far!
Anyone up to a challenge of matching the professionalism of sgd and artistique with a white based design?
Ayam you are getting quite close - but just not that last star yet.

13 months ago: To all designers, I have extended it 19 Hrs ONLY (not 24 because the contest ended at a horrible hour for me!) in search of a possible 5 star white entry if anyone is game enough! Failing that - it seems to be a showdown between Artistique and SGD!
